Queer Motions Series, 2022
Starting from diaries documenting her teenage years, the artist rewrites the episodes described in several passages, now through painting, in a manner that is almost disassociated from her own person, becoming a story for any queer adolescent who feels like they can relate to it. This series of paintings becomes, therefore, a (re)telling and analysis of the growth of a queer teenager and a glimpse of what surrounds them in the Portuguese context, through the use of symbols, movement and colour to appeal to the viewers emotions. The Title of each painting is directly taken from the passages written in the diaries.

Exhibited in O.Éstudio do Bonfim, 'Espaços Inconsistentes' curated by Coletivo Hera
